Mr. Rameshwar Prasad Chaurasiya, a senior leader of India's largest political party Bharatiya Janata Party (Bihar region), has been a former legislator of Nokha constituency of Rohtas district. Mr. Chaurasia is currently working as the National Working Committee member of Bharatiya Janata Party and co-in charge of Uttar Pradesh. One can get an idea of his popularity from the fact that he has been a four-time MLA from Nokha region. Mr. Chaurasia, along with PM Narendra Modi, has been considered close to party President Amit Shah.
